Northcroft Achieves ‘Strong Standards’ Across the Board

Northcroft School in Newbury, one of our specialist schools, has achieved ‘Strong Standard’ results across all six areas of Ofsted’s new report card system, less than two years after opening.

The secondary school opened in November 2024 and supports pupils aged 12 to 18 who are unable to access mainstream education. Inspectors praised its expert teaching, ambitious leadership, and the rapid progress pupils make from their starting points.

Headteacher Alex Walsh said the results were a testament to everyone’s hard work and a wonderful recognition of how much the school has grown.
