Our dedicated Learning & Development Centre provides a vibrant, supportive environment where our staff can grow, learn and gain confidence and progress in their careers.
With our own fully equipped training room, we deliver engaging, interactive and informative courses to support adults in meeting the needs of all our children. From mandatory courses such as PACE, first aid, food safety and safeguarding to sessions on understanding autism, recognising signs of child exploitation, supporting young people who are exploring their identities to how to communicate with children (PECS, Makaton)
We offer comprehensive support for staff undertaking professional qualifications,( like the fully funded Level 4 apprenticeship in residential childcare) alongside bespoke upskilling sessions for teams and individuals.
Our progression pathways are designed to prepare colleagues for future promotion, while our excellent leadership development programme ensures team leaders, deputies and registered managers can continue to thrive as part of their continuous professional development
