Learning, Development and Progression at Amegreen
Our Learning & Development Centre provides a vibrant, supportive environment where our colleagues can grow, learn, build confidence and progress in their careers.
With a fully equipped training room, we deliver engaging, interactive courses that help adults meet the needs of every child in our care. Training includes mandatory learning such as PACE, first aid, food safety and safeguarding, alongside specialist sessions including:
Understanding autism
Recognising the signs of child exploitation
Supporting young people exploring their identity
Communication tools and approaches, including PECS and Makaton
We also support colleagues undertaking professional qualifications, including the fully funded Level 4 Residential Childcare apprenticeship, as well as bespoke upskilling sessions for teams and individuals.
Our progression pathways help colleagues prepare for future promotion, and our leadership development programme supports team leaders, deputies and registered managers to continue to thrive as part of their ongoing professional development.
